Our B&B is in an 1865 bluestone & brick former hotel set in 0.6 ha of gardens. We provide 3 rooms with luxurious queen size beds, cosy guest lounge with wood fire and sumptuous cooked breakfast. We are located an easy 5 min drive from historic Kyneton.

Bed & Breakfast

Introduction
Jan and Mike invite you to their traditional B&B situated in an historic bluestone and brick building dating from the mid 1860's which is named after one of the original hotels in Carlsruhe, the Lord Admiral Hotel. The house is set on land of 0.6 hectares with the original cobblestone floored stables landscaped garden and our own vegetable garden, free range chickens and an orchard being established to provide home grown produce

Accommodation
In the spacious former hotel building we provide three bedrooms each with a queen size bed, electric blankets and heating. One room has an en suite bathroom and 2 rooms share a large bathroom that includes a claw foot bath.

There is a separate breakfast room with wood fire where a full cooked breakfast is available. Weather permitting breakfast can be taken on the deck.

Breakfast comprises any combination of freshly squeezed orange juice, fresh fruits in season, cereals, muesli, porridge, fruit toast, free range eggs with bacon, tomato and mushrooms served with sourdough toast. A wide range of teas and espresso coffee are also available. Seasonal homemade preserves with toast is also available

There is a cosy guest's lounge with antique furniture, wood fire, library, TV and DVD player.

Guests are welcome to enjoy and relax in the landscaped gardens and deck area.

A welcome afternoon tea is offered on arrival. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided. We also offer a drop off and pick up service by arrangement in the evening to restaurants in both Woodend and Kyneton.

Locality

We are centrally located in the Macedon Ranges with easy access to Hanging Rock, Macedon Regional Park and the towns of Kyneton and Woodend with their restaurants and cafes. The surrounding area has numerous wineries, art galleries and farmers markets that provide a range of local produce and products.

We are 75kms along the Calder Freeway from Melbourne and only 45mins from Melbourne Airport Tullamarine.
