Glenferrie Lodge provides superb, 3 star, budget accommodation, located on spectacular Sydney Harbour. We're renowned for our friendly, relaxed service, so if you're thinking of visiting Sydney for one night, a quiet weekend or an extended stay, this is the place for you. All rates include hot buffet breakfast, and there's an on-site restaurant and tour desk. Glenferrie Lodge was recently selected in the top 20 affordable hotels in Australia under $150 and in the top 10 hotels (no 7) under $100 by Australian Traveller Magazine. Pets are allowed at the property, provided they are domesticated and under 20kg. A charge of $30.00 per pet, per night applies and must be paid in advance of arrival. Pets must be on a lead in all public areas of the hotel, lobby, hallways and surrounds. We would recommend cats to be brought in and out of the hotel in a cat carry box. Pets may not enter our restaurant, . Pets are not to be left alone in the guest rooms and are to refrain from sitting on the couches, chairs, etc within the lounge areas of the hotel.

Nice neighborhood not far from the city center.
Location, location, location. This was a great place to launch from when exploring the city. The water taxi getting to the city center was only a couple of blocks away. The lodge is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood.

Locality

Within walking distance of the Kirribilli Wharf and 5 minutes away from the transportation hub of Circular Quay, the Glenferrie Lodge could not be in a better location. The ferry ride takes you past the Sydney Opera House and Sydney Harbor Bridge on a short trip to the train station, taxi stop, and bus stop. The Rocks shopping plaza is a hop skip and a jump away from Circular Quay. Luna Park and Taronga Zoo are both very close and Sydney City is only 10 minutes by ferry.

Property

Glenferrie Lodge is an historic Australian National Trust Building built in 1898 and located on Sydney Harbour in the suburb of Kirribilli, which is on the North Sydney side of the Harbour. Kirribilli is a very historical area of Sydney. It has beautiful tree lined streets, some old majestic homes and quaint shady public parks that enjoy spectacular views overlooking Sydney Harbour.
