Cottage, Holiday house

Kangaroo Island Garden Cottages offer superb self contained accommodation in a lovely house and a beautiful cottage, all set in gorgeous gardens.
There is also a separate cabin adjacent to the house.
The house and cottage can be booked separately or together and can accommodate up to 14 people in comfort.
The cabin can only be booked together with the house.

The cottages are situated in quiet Brownlow, about 4km along the beach from Kingscote, which is the largest town and commercial centre of Kangaroo Island with hotels, cafes, banks, supermarket, pharmacy and medical clinic as well as a large range of shops.

Each cottage has separate access and car parking and provides a private and peaceful base from which to explore the delights of Kangaroo Island.
The cottages are only 200m from the beach but have a wonderful feeling of seclusion, being hidden in the gardens

The gardens offer plenty of room for children to play.
Sit on the verandah and watch the birds playing in the birdbaths, or if you're feeling more energetic, the beach is just a short stroll away.

All linen and towels are supplied.
Facilities include: TV, DVD, Radio/CD,
RC air conditioning, Library and games,
Gas BBQ.

Locality

Kangaroo Island Garden Cottage is situated in the small township of Brownlow, on the North Coast of Kangaroo Island, within 200m of the beach.
Kingscote, the main town on the island, with shops, banks and hotels is 3km away.
Brownlow is centrally located to all major tourist attractions and boasts a general store with the best fish and chips.
Kangaroo Island Garden Cottages are the perfect base from which to explore our beautiful island

Property

The property is set well back from the road in beautiful gardens with lawned playing areas and plenty of off street parking. The cottages are architecturally designed with lofty ceilings, natural light, airy and clean.
There are always many different species of birds in the garden including Blue Wrens, Golden Whistlers, Grey Shrike Thrushes and Honeyeaters, in addition to the usual cockatoos, lorikeets, maggies and so on, with black swans and other sea birds at the beach only 200 metres away. You will even hear penguins at night.
Occasionally, kangaroos and wallabies can be seen grazing early in the morning.
