Naracoopa is a quiet hamlet situated on the sunny East Coast of King Island that offers Serenity, Tranquility and Quiet with miles of sandy deserted unspoilt beaches to explore. Enjoy the crisp clean air, the lovely walks, the wildlife. King Island is a bird watching haven.
Peace for the soul and solace for the frayed nerves.

These 1 & 2 b/r tastefully refurbished
cottages are pleasant, well appointed and beautifully maintained, fully self contained clean and comfortable. They have it all - fully equipped kitchen, Satellite TV, DVD player, free dvds, full laundry facilities etc etc.

Enter the interesting Games Room for table tennis, pool, darts, hookey etc. Mountain Bikes available.
or enjoy a drink while waiting for dinner at the undercover wood fired BBQ.

Naracoopa - King Island

King Island is a beautiful parallel universe a short distance from Australia's second biggest city that might as well be a million miles away in time and space. King Island is a great secret. It is an island about the area of Singapore, but with a permanent population of less than 1600 souls. Because of its relative isolation, King Island receives less than ten thousand tourist a year (compared with two and a half million in Queensland). The cost of traveling to both places is about the same.
Naracoopa is situated on the East Coast - about a 30 minutes drive on the quiet roads from the airport and 20 minutes from the main town of Currie. A Rental car will be necessary and can be obtained from either one of King Island's fine car rental establishments.
