Teacosy Cottage is situated on the Esplanade on beautiful Karragarra Island and from the deck you have uninterrupted water views to Stradbroke Island. The cottage has a large fully enclosed yard offering a safe environment for both dogs and children to play.

As there are no retail facilities on Karragarra Island it offers that unique experience where you can get away from the busy lifestyle and enjoy the peace and tranquility.

However, it is only a short 5 minute ferry trip to Macleay Island where there are shops, clubs and restaurants.

Moreton Bay offers safe waterways for fishing, boating and kayaking. Karragarra Island has a swimming enclosure on its' beach and clean BBQ facilities with covered picnic tables to enjoy memorable family holidays.

Locality

Karragarra Island is the smallest of the Southern Moreton Bay Islands and is nestled between Russell Island and Macleay and Lamb Islands.

Vehicular and passenger ferries run regularly from Redland Bay which is 30 minutes south from the Brisbane CBD. Karragarra Island is a 35 minute vehicular trip and a 10 minute passenger trip.

Teacosy Cottage has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a queen bed, the other a single bunk over a double bed. There is also a pull-out sofa in the lounge. The cottage is located on the waterfront and therefore has terrific sea breezes which you can enjoy from the deck.

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Secure, fully fenced running area.

Well-behaved, clean dogs are allowed inside but not on beds and furniture. Please bring with you dog towels to wash and dry dogs before they go inside, and your own dog bedding. The cottage has a large fully enclosed yard so dogs can play safely. Puppies under six months are not allowed.
