The wide three sided deck at Morton Retreat is the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the tranquility and look for the kangaroos, wallabys and wombats that come out of the bush to feed in the early morning and evening. The bird life is plentiful, with the possibility of watching magnificent Wedge Tailed Eagles soaring overhead. This three bedroom, two bathroom modern house stands on 5 acres with the imposing Mount Scanzi towering behind. It is a leisurely 20 minute drive from Kangaroo Valley village. The home is furnished to a high standard and is the ideal weekend getaway for those wishing to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and is ideal for a couple, a group or family getaway. The house is in an un-spoilt area on Bugong Fire Trail in the Morton National Park overlooking the bushland and escarpments across the valley. Inclusions:- Ceiling fans in all bedrooms and heaters in the bathrooms Dish washer Microwave Full laundry with tub - washing machine, dryer TV Video player CD player Gas barbecue on the large verandah Wood burning gas fire for those cool winter evenings Wildlife at and around Morton Retreat Swamp Wallaby, Grey Kangaroo, Red Necked Wallaby, Wombat, Monitor Lizards and frogs galore.

All long weekends besides Easter have a 3 night minimum.

Please Note: Access to this property is located down a dirt road, so care should be taken when travelling to the property especially in wet weather; lowered cars are not recommended for access to this property. Standard 2WD cars are able to access the property with no problems. This property is located in a National Park so we ask you to be cautious of wildlife.
