Historic Hampden Cottage built in 1880 has been beautifully restored for couples to enjoy a private relaxing stay. Adjacent to the Kangaroo River nature reserve nestled over 2 acres the cottage is equipped with all that is needed for a short or long break. The cottage has cosy log fire with plenty of fire wood. We will have your retreat warm and cosy for your arrival on a chilly day. You will also find instant electric heating and air conditioning. Quality cotton linen and fluffy towels are supplied, an ample breakfast basket to enjoy a full country breakfast on your first morning, and lots of little extras to make your stay special. Relax in the large two person spa in the beautiful new bathroom, with picture windows looking onto the cottage garden with it's abundant bird life.

From the moment we walked through the door we felt our stress melt away. Hampden Cottage has been a great place to re-energise. Thankyou, Dean & Andrea

Kangaroo Valley is situated just two hours drive from Sydney or Canberra.A short drive to the Southern Highlands or to the beaches on the coast.The cottage is an easy 15-21 minute stroll into the village of Kangaroo Valley and for that great morning cup of coffee you will find Source Cafe close by.
