2000 acre nature lovers paradise just 3.5 hrs from Sydney in Barrington Tops. Over 30km of bushwalking tracks through rainforest and timbered country. Secluded romantic loft cabins and family farm stay cottages.
Feed ducks, chickens and geese, hold new born guinea pigs or rabbits, collect eggs. Flood lit tennis court (we supply the racquets and balls), swimming pool. Horse riding and kayaking close by.
Fabulous organic restaurant with great organic wines and beer.
Did you know ancient snow ferns are only found in Kosciusko peaks and Barrington Tops, they have been around for millions of years but will not last millions of years more so come to see them at The Tops soon!

Life's stresses are forgotten when arriving at The Tops. Divine food, cabin with spa & log fire, breathtaking rainforest, one of the most memorable & relaxing weekends for ages. The staff are welcoming. The restaurant had log fire, pool table & comfy sofas - perfect to lounge on while enjoying a glass of organic wine.
We'll definitely be back to experience all the other activities on offer - especially bushwalking & touring the farm.

Locality

Adjacent to the World Heritage Barrington Tops National Park and 40kms from Gloucester this is a place for rare birds and other wildlife. You may see koalas and brumbies; wedge tail eagles soar overhead while frogs and platypus are found in the pristine rivers. We supply a fishing rod, dig your own worms and enjoy the relaxation of waiting for the fish to bite!

Property

The cottages and cabins have wireless internet, phone, hair dryer, ironing equipment, AusSTAR, DVDs’ and toiletries.
The cottages have two bedrooms - queen sized beds, and two fold down sofa beds to accommodate up to 8 people. Some have two bathrooms, all have spa baths. Recently renovated with new kitchens installed. The balconies overlook creeks so while sitting quietly as the sun goes down it is possible to watch the wildlife come out to play.
The secluded loft cabins for romantic getaways overlook rainforest. King spa bath, polished wooden floors, loft bedroom make this an ideal way to spend quality time together in peace and harmony with nature. In the comfy lounge area, the sofa can pull out to accommodate another couple. Newly installed to the loft cabins are aged red gum kitchens.
The organic restaurant uses produce from the garden, purchases are made from local growers as necessary. The restaurant is open for breakfast 7 days and for dinner Tuesday to Saturday, all dietary requirements are catered for.
We have certified organic wines and Australia’s first sparking chardonnay for that special occasion, Cooper's Real Ales of course.
Owner John is always delighted to talk to guests about sustainability and to show them around the garden, fun for kids, interesting for adults.

2000 acres of bushland adjacent to the world heritage Barrington Tops National Park. Over 30 kms of bushwalking tracks, creeks and rivers on the property. Maps are supplied in each cabin or cottage. Koala, platypus and other rare species can be seen on the property, as well as over 100 species of birds.

Organic garden, Owner John will talk on sustainable living. All cottages and cabins recently renovated using organic oils.

Motor bikes can be parked outside each cottage or cabin. There is no undercover parking. There is about 10 kms of dirt road to get to the property

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

Dogs are not allowed inside the cottages and cabins. Each cottage of cabin has a covered veranda where the dogs can sleep.
