Holiday house

Formerly the St Georges Presbyterian church, this was the first church built in Kalgoorlie Boulder in 1897. The church nearly burnt to the ground in 1911, but was retsored by the church members. The last church service was conducted in the 70's. The current owners have spent over a decade building the empty hall into a beautifully renovated executive home with all the modern conveniences of air conditioning and a dishwasher while maintining the heritage value of the property by hand painting the ornate pressed tin cieling with a victorian pallette and gold detail.
Every detail from the front door to the 6 X 12m Gazebo has been handcrafted with the use of original, or local materials from the region.
Pictures on the walls and a photo album of some of the early restoration fill you with a the nostalgia that abounds in this residence.
A most peaceful and serene nights sleep will surely help you recover from the activities of your travels.
Located in heart of the Boulder CBD you are walking distance to the major tourist treats of the Goldfields. Boulder offers the War Museum, Town Hall, Art Shows, Heritage trails, Loop Line Railway, KCGM Super Pit tours and the bustling Boulder Markets on the 3rd Sunday of every month. Restaurants, Cafes, Take-aways and Pub meals are close enough to not worry about cooking during your stay.
Not to mention 10 pubs, including a theatre and Comedy Club, close enough to stagger between if this is how you choose to relax after a day of touring.
Everything is only a short walk, taxi trip, or if you feel like venturing to the wider attractions of the Goldfields, you can visit Ora Banda, Broad Arrow, Kanowna and Coolgardie with the aid of a rental car. Brochures of the tourist activities are available in the Church.
You will be greeted on arrival by a local resident who will be more then happy to help you with all your needs.
