Holiday unit, Holiday apartment, Bed & Breakfast, Self-contained apartment

Because we know people need to have an overnight stay when travelling to and from their destination we do not impose a minimum stay under normal circumstances........but you are welcome to stay longer of course! Some periods however do require a minimum 2 night stay.

Your private accommodation consists of 2 bedrooms,(1x queen, 1 x double & 1 x single) spacious lounge, airy dining room, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry and separate toilet & shower. Your unit at Kalamunda has been recently refurbished. We are happy to take daily, weekly or extended stays guests.

We only take one booking at a time so you have sole & private use of the unit during your stay be it for one night or a week or more.

Unfortunately due to excessive fees we no longer offer credit cards facilities.

Although not AS1428 rated the unit is groundfloor (just the threshold to negotiate) and the shower recess has a 6" high step. Grab rails have been installed in the shower and on the toilet walls.

We are PET FREINDLY by negotiation. All well behaved, well trained pets are welcome. We have a large semi-enclosed yard but we ask that you supervise your pets at all times. We have wallabies living on our property and as we have guests who stay with us so they can enjoy the wildlife we don't want to have the wallabies and birdlife chased away. Small pets, provided they are trained, are welcome to stay inside the unit. Large verandahs protect the outside area which is suitable for the medium sized pets. Sorry but we are unable to have your very larger dogs holiday with us. (Labradors etc are fine)

Other activites such as rafting, horse riding, wineries, cafes etc are only a short distance from "Kalamunda".

Property

Escape the "touristy" areas and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside. We are nestled in the Orara Valley which is one of the most beautiful areas of the Mid North Coast.

Kalamunda is approximately 1.5km from Coramba Village and 25 minutes to the beaches of Coffs Harbour. We accept credit cards & we are pet friendly by negotiation. New signage means Kalamunda is very easy to find.

Soak up the atmosphere as you sit on the spacious verandas sipping a drink whilst you enjoy the clean country air. Take a leisurely walk around the property, watch the kangaroos graze or delight in the antics of the abundant birdlife. The beauty of the rural landscape is your to enjoy right here at Kalamunda. There is also ample space for you to practice your golf swing without having to drive to the golf course or driving range.

Locality & Attractions

Our district has so much to offer. From fine dining & wine tasting to the adrenaline rush of white water rafting ....... all within easy access.

In Coramba village you are able to enjoy counter lunches and bistro dinners from the Coramba Hotel (they have a very comprehensive menu)or cafe style dining at the local Cafe/Store/Bakery. You can browse the arts and crafts galleries in Coramba also.

Go wine tasting at the boutique wineries close by, experience paintball or hit a few golf balls around Kalamunda or at a local golf course in Karangi.

We would be happy to assist you with information on any of the tourist activities available or make bookings on your behalf. You don't have to spend a fortune to have a memorable holiday at Kalamunda in the beautiful Orara Valley
