"The house is clean, tidy and comfortable and in a good location for exploring the southern and western parts of the island. It is reasonably new, set in bushland so lot of birds around but a good walk to the beach. As tourists we would have appreciated a few more essentials provided. Mobile access is also limited. We joined our friends and regardless enjoyed our stay. Ros, QLD"

"Island Dream was home away from home. The house is beautiful, immaculate, extremely well-appointed and very comfortable. My partner and I especially liked the BBQ facilities and outdoor setting (feeding possums and wallabies from the deck), comfortable bed and relaxing location. The extra 'little things' that were provided like oil, jam and food for the native animals were greatly appreciated and helped to make our experience a highly enjoyable one. We would love to return to KI again one day and stay at Island Dream. Highly recommended!"

"'Island Dream' can only be described as five star accommodation. It had everything one could hope to expect plus more. All a guest has to do is unpack, fire up the BBQ, grab a cold beer and enjoy themselves. 'Island Dream' is true value for money. Its location is such that one is close to a number of Kangaroo Island's tourist haunts without experiencing overcrowding. We enjoyed the accommodation and the location so much we will be returning again. Thank you 'Island Dream.'"

"A great place to come back to after exploring the island. The home had everything to make the stay comfortable - a comfortable bed, good shower and a well appointed kitchen. Guests may be advised to shop for groceries/food on the mainland or at Kingscote before arriving at Vivonne Bay, if they are intending to stay for a week. The owners were also very helpful. "

"Sensational! The attention to detail in this property is a credit to the owners. We found the house to be extremely clean, light, bright, luxuriously furnished, the bush view relaxing, and its location superb; we could hear the waves crashing in, yet it was well sheltered to enjoy the outdoor deck. The after dark wildlife that abounds gave the entire family hours of enjoyment. We would recommend Island Dream without hesitation."

"The accommodation was excellent in every respect, and we had a great time. Being so close to so many attractions was good.

The air-conditioning was a real bonus at the end of a hot day, as was the dishwasher - holidays shouldn't be spent doing dishes. We could have easily stayed a lot longer. Vivonne Bay is a wonderful place to visit, and an unspoiled beach retreat. "
