Indulgent, two bedrooms, electric: heater, blankets, and ceiling fans. Large living/dining/cooking area with Rev Cyc air-conditioner. Fully equipped electric kitchen. Washing machine, tumble dryer. The Bathroom/WC has:-shower, bath-tub, bidet, hairdryer and shampoo/conditioner. Outside: gas BBQ, fish cleaning area, extra refrigerator. Comfortable furniture for relaxing or alfresco dining.
We provide: tea, coffee, sugar, and, from our own bees, Kangaroo Island Honey.

Island BeachIsland Beach is only 15km from the ferry - 45km from the airport. Five km of a beautiful, sandy, family beach. Convenient base from which to explore the island. Choose from: birdwatching, fishing, surfing, watch the Pelicans being fed, taste: FRESH oysters, superb KI wines. See: sheep milking, Bee Farm, Island Beehive Tour, honey extraction. Closest restaurant dining is at American River or Penneshaw each 15km away. Beach boat-launching is only one km away. Or maybe join a fishing party on a charter boat from American River [opposite]. From early or mid August to early September - it varies year on year, we are presently surrounded by Mallee gum trees in blossom - wonderful.
Stop, and stare in wonder at nature's beauty. Watch the wallabies at dusk, feeding themselves. Roos, Echidnas and Goannas passing through; wrens play, and then there's the dawn chorus. LantauananNew, atop a sand-dune, with 360 degree views of bush or beach. Lantauanan is timber built. Has two bedrooms and a large living space with dedicated areas for: kitchen, dining, relaxing/viewing.
The white, sandy beach, only 200 metres away, stretches for about 5 kms between Rocky Point and Sapphiretown [opposite American River]. An incredible stroll at dawn or dusk!
