Our Executive Rooms have been refurbished this year and have been configured especially for your business traveller or for a couple looking for stylised modern accommodation - these rooms have wireless internet at no extra cost.

As the name says, Motel Ingham built 4 Spa Rooms in the early 1990s which have been extremely popular with all types of travellers. If you are looking for accommodation to soothe those aching muscles, or want a little bit of luxury - give a spa room a swirl!

All rooms are serviced daily which involves the remaking of your bed/s, change of towels and bathroom linen, restocking of tea/coffee supplies and of course the restocking of your fridge with fresh milk!
We have wonderful evening meals and breakfasts that can be delivered to your room or enjoyed in our newly refurbished pool area.

If you were to stay with us at Motel Ingham, may I suggest utilizing our pool area for a relaxed social evening.

You can either cater for yourselves - we have two large BBQs and all cutlery and crockery required which will be set out ready for you to use and will be cleaned up after at no extra cost, or, arrange for the friendly staff at Motel Ingham to look after all of your requirements.

Hinchinbrook - 110kms north of Townsville and 245kms south of Cairns is a short drive but a universe away the Nth Queensland major towns.

Ingham, the capital of Hinchinbrook is a dynamic,diverse multicultural township that positively reflects the historical influence of Aboriginal (Girringun, Nywaigi and Gumbudda Nations) settlement and subsequent European migration. Over 60% of Hinchinbrook's current population can trace their lineage to early 20th Century Italian migration. There is still 5 distinct Italian dialects spoken in the area!

In the surrounds are the Wet Tropics World Heritage National Parks of Girringun which includes Wallaman Falls, the highest waterfall in Australia. Whilst off the coast is Hinchinbrook Island, the world's largest island nation park and falls within the Great Barrier Reef World Heritage Marine Park.

Across the road from the Motel is the Tyto Wetlands- home to over 206 species of birds, 600 wallabies and a couple of crocodiles!!! Take a late afternoon stroll and discover the wonders on our doorstep.

Throughout the year there a many festivals that celebrate our diverse cultural and unique character.

May is a busy month with the Australian-Italian Festival and the Ingham Car Show Extravaganza.

In October the Maraka Festival celebrates the 'family' - the original indigenous meaning is 'happy gathering' and includes a gala ball, pet parades, morning teas, concerts, steam train rides and then the week culminates with a madi gras featuring a grand parade in the late afternoon and a fantastic evening of fun at the fair under the enormeous Rain Tree in the main street.

Other popular events include the Ingham Show in July, the Ingham Spring Racing Carnival and the Sugar City Rodeo in September.
