Upon the River Bend captures all that Riverside living has to offer. Imagine strolling to the riverside to picnic beside, swim or fish by the river bank at your leisure. Come home after a day out of touring the famous Huon Valley Tourist Region to a relaxing, peaceful cottage nestled among the paddocks and trees of the Huon Valley. Situated only a few minutes away from the main township, yet seemingly a world away from the hustle and bustle of normal life. The cottage is carefully furnished with quality fittings, linen, crockery and fresh flowers await your arrival. The setting is delightful, with established gardens, mountain vistas and water views to unwind the senses.

Locality

Only a 30 minute drive to Hobart's Salamanca Market, Battery Point, Mount Wellington and the Hobart Waterfront. Explore a little further to find the Cadbury Chocolate Factory and Morilla museum and art gallery. A little closer to home means you are directly in the centre of the Huon Wine Region and Tourist route. Just 30 minutes south of the cottage is the famous Tahune Air Walk, heritage museums and bush walks to the Hartz Mountains and surrounding adventures such as white water rafting, flying fox and other outdoor adventure sports that are available. Back at the cottage the Huon River Jet boat ventures past for a thrilling ride or, alternatively, paddle boats can be hired from a venue just 5 minutes south of the cottage for a leisurely way to experience the river.
