Cottage, Holiday unit, Holiday apartment, Self-contained apartment

Country-style self-contained cottages with a touch of nostalgia, history, memorabilia and our good old Aussie humour.
We have a large mob of kangaroos and wallabies here as regular visitors as well as plenty of other local wildlife on our 280 acres.In spring we have native orchids all thru the property and this is a great time to explore the grampians region.
There are five spacious two bedroom cottages which sleep four. Our one bedroom cottages are ideal for a couples getaway. We also have some cabins with sofa beds for an extra guest or 2..

Our shearing shed-style Town Hall has a great atmosphere for communal get togethers, with a large open fireplace and rustic tables and chairs. New additions to the town, Our Olde Time Lolly Shop and farm animals for the children.

Mad Max's Garage is a car nut's heaven, with hot rods and motoring memorabilia lining the walls, ideal for car clubs and groups. It even has its own 50s-style diner.

We have gentle bush walks around our property or for something more challenging its only a five minute drive to mountain climbs. With Halls Gap only a 20 min drive away our town is an ideal base for you to explore this wonderful region.We are also an ideal overnight stop for guests travelling between Adelaide and Melbourne.

Locality

We are in the Northern Grampians area close to Roses Gap, Wartook and Halls Gap. We have excellent views to the Grampians and a large kangaroo and emu population roam the property. There are also some friendly farm animals for the children to feed and pet.

Our animals are all friendly and we keep them for a hobby as we are not a working farm. We also have quiet wallabys here that visit us.

Fishing spots available nearby, Local fishing knowledge available, Boat storage/parking available onsite.

Our lakes and rivers in the local area are full and well stocked with fish.This is the first time in many years that we can promote fishing here. If you have fished here in the past now is the time to try a return visit.

When we have a group booking of the whole property we can guarantee complete privacy.

Motor Bike Friendly

Motor bike riders welcome, Motor bike parking available.

We are located on a main sealed road, but we do have a 1km. of gravel road leading up to the cabins.

Cats are permitted, Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted inside, Other domesticated animals reside at the property.

Although we do not have fenced cabins we do have 280 acres of bush that well controlled dogs are allowed off leash.

Rockclimbing & Abseiling

We are 10 mins drive from the Grampians area which is famous for its rock climbing. Also Mt Arapiles is a 35 min drive away also a rock climbing destination.

Our property is ideal if you are looking for a smaller unique venue for your wedding. We can arrange Caterers and Celebrants for you.
