Sunray is a popular, well appointed property with good value rates and central location. This ground floor studio apartment is your oasis in the city, near the waterfront and on the edge of Battery Point. It's only a short walk through St. David's Park to cafes, great restaurants, clubs, bars, cafes, river cruises, the Tourist Information Office, Salamanca Market and all the Hobart waterfront has to offer. Our guests love our fantastic location and the personalised service. For less than the cost of a hotel room in the area you have your own little "home" in the city. When we say "central" we really mean it!

We can supply breakfast provisions for you on request or there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The kitchenette has fridge, microwave, fryer, steamer, toaster, kettle, crockery, glassware, cutlery etc.

We can arrange hire of a porta cot if you're traveling with an infant.

Sunray's building is listed in the 'Significant Architecture of Tasmania', but behind your apartment's 40's art deco exterior is your modern, cosy, clean, comfortable 3 room Studio apartment.
It's easy walking distance to the Hobart Visitor Centre, shops, theatres, cinemas, Federation Concert Hall (home of the Tasmanian Symphony Orchestra), Constitution Dock, Salamanca Place & Market, Parliament House, city offices, banks, historic Battery Point, hospitals, churches and GPO.
The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens (Pete's Vegie Patch) is an easy 30 minute walk.

We suggest being car-free for a few days when staying with us - every city, Battery Point and waterfront attraction is within easy walking distance. There is ample on-street parking or we can valet park your vehicle if you don't want to use it during your stay. There is no off street nor undercover parking.

Only 20 minutes from the airport; in the city, next to Battery Point and Salamanca Place and Market. Highways from the north, east and west coasts take you into Davey Street on the waterfront - Sunray Apartment is on the corner of Davey Street and Heathfield Avenue.

It's a pleasant 4 minute walk through St David's Park to Salamanca Place and Market; 10 minutes to the CBD or Battery Point. The Hobart Visitor Information Centre is only 2 blocks away from your front door - many tours leave from here. River cruises and guided historic walks are all nearby. Choose from the many restaurants in the area as well as cafes, coffee shops, pubs, clubs, galleries, shops and museums. Parliament House, banks, hospitals, cinemas, theatres and churches are all close by. The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens is just a 30 minute stroll away.

Your studio apartment has 3 rooms; the main room has a queen size bed with electric blankets, clock radio, heating, lounge, HD TV, CD player/radio. Double glazing ensures maximum warmth and minimum noise.

The kitchenette is perfect for light meal preparation and is equipped with microwave, fridge, toaster, kettle, frypan, steamer, cutlery and crockery as well as tea and coffee making facilities. (No stove/oven)
If you'd like our 'Breakfast Pack' awaiting you for your first morning - just ask!

The modern bathroom has shower, toilet, handbasin, hairdryer and heated towel rails. There is no laundry on-site but we have a pickup/dropoff laundry service and there's a laundrette nearby. Outside drying lines are available.

We understand you want to enjoy your privacy; your apartment is serviced on alternate days at times that suit you.

You have your own private ground floor garden entrance and you will be met upon arrival by our manager or staff. Early check in or late check out at no extra charge (if available). All the facilities and nearby attractions will be explained to you and any questions answered.
