Cottage

This cottage will delight those with an interest in older character buildings. It retains many original features and all of the charm while having all the comforts of modern living.

The light and sunny kitchen is fully equipped with convection/microwave, gas cook top, fridge and all crockery and utensils. Fresh coffee and tea supplies provided. (An excellent bakery cafe is just 2 mins away).

An intimate courtyard with a cottage herb garden is perfect for secluded dining.
The cosy, electrically heated and comfortable lounge has a CD player, TV, DVD and books and magazines for browsing.

Locality

North Hobart is an historic area of Hobart with many beautiful old sandstone and timber cottages. A few minutes drive and within walking distance to the CBD, Hobart waterfront and Domain parklands and well serviced by public transport.

Elizabeth St, just 50m away from Jane Cottage, is the vibrant and renowned restaurant strip of North Hobart. Diverse dining experiences and live entertainment are enjoyed by visitors and locals alike.

Local activites

A minutes walk from the cottage and you can wander amongst the galleries, pubs, shops and many cafes of the area. "The State", an independently owned cinema and well loved Hobart establishment offers the best of popular and foreign films. North Hobart is also the location of the Italian, Greek and Chinese cultural centres.
