Bed & Breakfast

Meriam b&b is your gateway to: all National Parks in South Tasmania, to Hobart CBD area, to North Hobart restaurants and New Town shopping centres.

Meriam b&b is only 20-25 min walking distance from Hobart CBD area. You will stay in fully refurbished rooms on the second floor of the house between antique furniture and carefully chosen colours of the walls to make you stay in Tasmania pleasant and enjoyable. There are four completely refurbished bathrooms and toilets.

There is kitchen available for you if you prefer self-catering. Parking is also available for our guest free of charge.

The b&b house is listed on Tasmanian Heritage Council Register under number R 2271.The house was built by Thomas Reibey Atkinson in 1898.He is a grandson of Mary Reibey, the Australian first business lady shown on $20 note.

Locality

Our b&b is walking distance from North Hobart restaurants, New Town shopping center, the Domain, the Botanical garden, and Runnymede historical House, Goverment House, the Cornelian Bay and Boat House restaurant etc.

If you come to Tasmania by air we do recommend using the Hobart airport shuttle bus because a bus stop is in front of our house in Stoke Street.
