Holiday apartment, Self-contained apartment

The Jackson Townhouse is situated in an historic 1836 building. The apartment is beautifully furnished and has everything you will need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay in Hobart. Spend the day exploring Hobart and its surrounds, relax in the spa and then enjoy fine cuisine at one of the nearby restaurants. Bring the family or come with friends.There's plenty of room to relax in the spacious living area and unwind after a day of sightseeing.

This has been ideal accommodation for us. We have been extremely comfortable here. We just wish it was our own! Very central, convenient position. Thankyou for making our stay so enjoyable.

Locality

The Jackson Townhouse is centrally located so there is no need to hire a car if you wish to spend your time exploring Hobart and taking tours. Easy walking distance to cinema complex,supermarket,city centre,waterfront,the charms of historic Battery Point and of course Salamanca Place with its Saturday market,restaurants and galleries.There are also plenty of other nearby cafes and restaurants or you may like to pamper yourself with a dip and massage at the Savoy Baths.The list of nearby attractions is endless.

The Jackson Townhouse has all the space and conveniences for a comfortable stay whether for 2 nights or 2 months.There are 2 large bedrooms with queen size beds, one with a double inner-sprung sofa bed, a very large living area with 2 chesterfields and another double sofa bed, antique dining setting, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a spa bath and laundry facilities. Children are very welcome and we keep a cot, age-grouped toys and DVDs for the littlies.

Originally the 'Saracen's Head' hotel our building was erected in 1836 by David Manson a Scottish convict on ticket of leave and is now National Trust listed featuring one of only 2 sets of curved corner doors remaining in Tasmania. Tasmania features no less than 80% of Australia's Georgian and mid-Victorian buildings.
