Housed in an early 1800' Georgian building, Flourish now boasts a state of the Art interior, with a flair for design and personal touches that will make your stay both special and memorable. We treat our guests as if Family are coming to stay with added extras ro make you feel most welcome. Flourish Boutique has been lovingly restored. You will find comfortable and stylish surroundings, embellished with an array of original artworks, collectables and quirky antiques. Our Boutique has Two Queen size bedrooms, allowing for a special family stay. This is a self contained cottage allowing for self catering with a great, modern kitchen with serious cooking facilities. Pick up your provisions @ the gourmet deli / providore, a 2 min walk away. If you prefer to eat out, amble to a variety of nearby cafes and restaurants. The living spaces are generous and comfortable, as you would expect in a building of Flourish's stature. With a 42" plasma, Flourish will meet all your expectations. The local Village atmosphere is enhanced with a variety of Cafes, renown restaurants and the famous Cascade Hotel. You will find all your needs catered for, within easy walking distance , including a newsagency, Gourmet Deli, Bakery, Health Food Store, Chemist, Lustre Hair and Beauty Salon, Post office. Tourist attractions such as Mt Wellington, the Cascade Brewery and the Womens Factory are only minutes away.

Locality

Flourish Boutique Accommodation is annexed to Flourish Gallery and Giftwares, a unique shopping experience in itself. Award winning Artists and local artisans works are enhanced with a selection of decorative homewares, specially chosen for "la Grande experience". A brief walk and you will find Antiques, bric a brac, vintage wares, a monthly local market as well as several other beautiful gift shops within the local precint, allowing you a chance to relax and enjoy the comfortable pace Hobart has to offer. The CBD of Hobart and Salamanca waterfront are a mere 20 min walk away. You will enjoy the leafy, Historic walk along the rivulet. Look out for the resident Trout and the Sculpture Trail, when exhibited. Nestled beneath the lofty Mt Wellington, Flourish Boutique in South Hobart is the place to stay.

Property

Flourish is a prime and unique example of a Georgian Building believed to be one of a type in Tasmania, perhaps Australia. This is a Heritage listed early 1800's property with an artful twist. Reputed to have a chequed past as a Gambling Den, The local Firemens abode as well as a heriatge Bakery the Baker's Residence, now home to Artists, providing a working studio and Gallery, Flourish has righfully earned a place in the history of South Hobart.
