"The property is well situated on a hill, with magnificent views of the the Hobart area. We have stayed there twice and have found the the accomodation very comfortable. Great breakfast and complete privacy. Lyn and her husband were wonderful hosts. The access to Sandy Bay road is at the end of Red Chapel Ave which makes it an ideal location for tourists heading both into the city and to the southern tourist attractions.I would highly recommend this B&B and we will stay there again on future visits. "20 Red Chapel was a lucky find for us - our home away from home. We have booked again for next year. Love the space and the magnificent views and little touches like plenty of books to read and home baking that appeared in our kitchen regularly. Lyn and Clive were wonderful hosts, so helpful and friendly and nothing too much trouble. We are so looking forward to our return visit next year."

"What a fantastic welcome to Tasmania and Hobart. Our host was brilliant. Accommodation warm and inviting, and the view's over Hobart spectacular. As parents of 3 very active boys we are always concerned about how we will be welcomed, but Lyn was great, she even had toys for them all to play with, kids books and dvd's, and books for the adults as well. Extra fluffy towels and our beds made daily were and added bonus. Have already recommended to a friend."

"Excellent accommodation and service.

"On arrival we found the host had pre-warmed our rooms and we were well greeted. The view from the kitchenette/sitting room and teh main bedrom was amazing, overlooking the harbour. The kitchenette contained all the necessary items and condiments, and there was a very large range of local reading materials and brochures for our perusal. The bedrooms were immaculate and homely. It was onyl a couple of minutes drive from Hobart CBD and only a short walk to the harbour. This B&B provided one of the best value accommodation choices throughout our whole trip. We would definately stay there again. "

"We have just spent 2 nights at Red Chapel & found it to be very comfortable with large bedrooms & a large bathroom. It was just like
being at home. Our hostess was very friendly and made sure we lacked nothing. We enjoyed the breakfast room as it had stunning views overlooking the Derwent River and, needless to say we dallied.
We all found it to be very relaxing and if the opportunity ever arose again, would definitely return."

"I had a very lovely and comfortable stay at Red Chapel. It was homely, comfortable, and warm and the hosts Lyn and Clive were very hospitable and friendly. Breakfast was good with fresh fruits and a variety of cereal and drinks to choose from. We could also choose to add on our breakfast items on our own. This was because they had a special breakfast/dining room for guests where we could watch TV, enjoy the beautiful view of the bay, and eat in the comfort of at-home environment. The bedrooms and huge bathroom are beautifully decorated in modern Victorian style and offer visitors to Australia a first-hand feel of a typical Australian home living. The environment is kept very clean and we felt safe as if we were staying with a friend. Parking is available within the house premises so there is no need to park on the streets. We felt welcomed and hosted but it was not very intrusive at the same time.
Strongly Recommend that you give this a try!"

"This was such a lovely place to stay - above all, the most amazing views of the Derwent Estuary and into Hobart - and so close to the centre as well. The rooms were very comfortable indeed and the guest dining room was just great. Our hostess was helpful, charming, non-intrusive. We were staying as two couples so we had the place to ourselves and we felt very much at home. Breakfast was great, too!"
