Holiday house

Island Retreat offers open living accommodation with pleasant balcony views overlooking the Lower Murray and natural country scenery.

Downstairs has one bedroom with a double bed,a fully equipped kitchen,a bathroom with a shower cubicle,toilet and basin.There is a laundry area,trough and cupboard,with the clothesline just outside in the alcove.Underfloor heating is available as is R/C air conditioning.

Upstairs has 3 bedroooms,a bathroom which includes a bath,a shower cubicle, toilet and basin. A large lounge area, a table with eight chairs and open space entertainment.

All linen provided. Ironing facilities supplied.Lock up garage under main roof for two vehicles.

Close to a boat ramp and horse riding.

Island Retreat relies on rainwater and purchased springwater. All waste water/greywater is collected in holding tanks that need to be regularly pumped out.(Council regulations prohibit ground seepage systems) Please use water carefully.

Locality

Island Retreat is in a peaceful area on the northern side of Hindmarsh Island overlooking the lower Murray River and open rural pastures.

Stay and relax or visit the interesting places nearby including the Murray Mouth, Goolwa, Middleton, Pt Elliot and Victor Harbour.

Fabulous location for accommodation during the Tour Down Under 2010.
