"Wonderful private location with great scenery. Easy access to mountain biking and hiking trail (Goldfields Track). Dogs loved running around on the well-fenced property and walks down the country lanes. Away from the crowds, yet close to Daylesford and plenty of local attractions. Would absolutely recommend Woolly Slopes and hope to have the chance to stay there again!"

"Great serene tranquil location.
Pity about the sewer/plumbing smell coming from the main bedroom, it was absolutely dreadful which meant for 6 nights we slept on the couch. The old plumbing meant that there was a lot of churning, chugging, banging and weird noise from under the house that would occur throughout the night really frightened me.
I loved starting the day with a coffee on the balcony to welcome the new day and ending it with a glass of wine under the glowing moon."

We read magazines and books throughout the days (when we weren't drinking in the beautiful views) and watched the moon rise every evening. I'd highly recommend this isolated country retreat for those needing to switch off and recharge the batteries."

"Sorry to say but is was a disaster. Very difficult to find the property, especially at night. Once we found it, we opened the door and there was a dreadful smell, which ended up being the gas fridge leaking LPG toxic fumes. We could not stay there and had to end up finding different accommodation at 10.30 Friday night and Sat night."
