Holiday house


LIVING

The large open planned family room has a gas convection heater and polished floor boards.

There is a 68cm TV complete with DVD and home theatre. A kitchen setting for 6 looks out over the lawn to the hazelnut orchard.

The lounge room is very relaxing with a wood heater and lovely views over the gardens and lawns.

BREAKFAST AND KITCHEN

A kitchen setting for 6 looks out over the lawn and hazelnut orchard. Breakfast can be enjoyed here or at a number of other locations throughout the house, and gardens.

The dining room also looks over the orchard. The kookaburra's are always in view waiting for their food.

Breakfast provisions include bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, muligrain bread, fruit bread, milk, orange juice, and butter. Full size kitchen, family room with lounge suite and dining table. Also seperate lounge and dining room .

BEDROOMS

The White House has 4 Bedrooms. The configuration includes 4 King size beds. or 8 Single beds as follows:

Room 1 - (King)
Room 2 (1 King or 2 singles)
Room 3 (1 king or 2 singles)
Room 4 (1 King and 4 singles)

There is a lounge, 2 ensuites and 1 full bathroom.

The house can accommodate 2-12 people and comprises a large main bedroom with a king size bed, and built in robes. Off the main bedroom is a large full ensuite. The second bedroom has either a king size bed or 2 singles depending on your needs. It has built in robes, with views of the hedge garden and lawn. The third bedroom has either a king size bed or 2 singles depending on your needs. There are also built in robes, and this room overlooks the orchard. The fourth bedroom has 1 king size bed, and 2-4 single beds depending on your needs. It has a large ensuite. This room over looks the beautiful gardens.

The bird feeder outside has parrots feeding all day.

BATHROOM

The house has 2 modern and stylish ensuites with showers and toilets, also a beautifully modern main bathroom with shower and bath. Seperate toilet next to bathroom.

Locality


Yarra Valley Wineries
In under one hour from the centre of Melbourne you can be in the beautiful Yarra Valley, home of some of Australia's greatest wines. Here winemakers will welcome you to taste their award winning wines in the spectacular rolling hills at the foot of the Dandenong Ranges. More than this is the Yarra Valley is pure breath taking countryside just a short drive from the city. Come for a day and meet the winemakers, enjoy the wines and stop for a delicious meal or stay longer and enjoy the hospitality of the valleys.



Healesville Sanctuary
Today it features over 200 species of native mammals, reptiles and birds in a natural bushland setting. there is a circular walking track which leads through a number of roomy enclosures, wetlands, display centres and aviaries. The sanctuary's fauna includes Tasmanian devils, lyrebirds, an 800-strong ibis colony, kangaroos, emus, wallabies, dingoes, echidnas, owls, cockatoos, flying foxes, Lorikeets, bats, lizards and many others. There are regular demonstrations such as snake shows, the very popular feeding of the eagles and displays of wombats, koalas, pelicans and the platypus.

Healesville Art Gallery
Further south on the Badger Creek Road is a turnoff on the left into Nigel Court. At 11-13 is the Healesville Art Gallery which is located in a bushland setting with native birdlife. It features an ever-changing exhibition of paintings, jewellery and pottery by local artists, together with a display of gemstones, crystals and mineral specimens, particularly opals.

Puffing Billy Train
Enjoy a ride on Puffing Billy, Australia's oldest steam railway and one of the finest preserved steam railways in the world. Travel 25 kilometres through the beautiful forests and fern gullies from Belgrave, only one hour east of Melbourne, to Emerald Lake Park and Gembrook.
