Two cottages built to the same design and standard surrounded by 10 acres of mountain-top gardens and forest. The view from each cottage is magnificent. The highest standards of accommodation complement the beautiful and natural surroundings.
Imagine a space filled with natural light and mellow timbers, warm mudbrick walls and a glowing fire. Uncork a bottle of wine and watch the clouds race across the sky. This is a place for special memories.

There are over 70 different species of native birds recorded on our property. There are many lyrebirds which can be seen around our two cottages. There is over 7 acres of native forest on the property and we have native forest adjoining.A walking track leads through the forest where whipbirds, spinebills, fairy wrens and many parrots live including Gang Gangs,Australian King parrots and Yellow tailed black cockatoos.

Massage can be arranged in your cottage by qualified massuers. There are a number of day spas in the valley and in Healesville which is 13 minutes drive from us. The nearest day spa is Piaf Day Spa set in a beautiful rainforest setting on Don road, about 8 minutes from us.

Dinner, Bed and Breakfast

Breakfast provisions are provided for the first morning for you to cook at your leisure. Breakfast includes free rang bacon, eggs, cereal, milk, bread, butter and jams and oranges for you to press. A range of coffee and teas are provided including plunger grind organic filter coffee.
A dinner menu is available on our website. Dinner is brought to your cottage.

Healesville has many art galleries in the main street. There is also glass blowing and a silver smith with attached galleries/workshops. Tarrawarra Museum of art is about 20 minutes from us. This major gallery hosts exhibitions including the Archibald finalists. The gallery is the home for the collection of the Besen family, a collection of modern Australian art.

We have two cottages on 10 acres of garden and forest. Views are for over 100 km's across the valley to the Melbourne skyline and beyond. The cottages are built to the same design and standard and each has a great view. The cottages are separate and private, there is only the sound of birds calling. Every comfort has been built into these modern light filled cottages.

Winter Holiday

Log fire, Sometimes snows in this locality, Indoor spa, Winter activities available nearby detailed below.

We are on the lower levels of snowfalls in the Donna Buang ranges and would expect some snow to fall once or twice a year. We have recorded up to 150mm in winter. Tobogganing and snow play at Donna Buang is only 40 minutes away. Cross country skiing is at Lake Mountain about 55 minutes from here.
