"Despite being touted as a B&B, this was truly a luxurious private retreat with those special touches that make you want to return. My partner and I stayed for two nights in the Colonial Suite with our dog. We were delighted with the location, it was so quiet and right next to the confuence of the Hawkesbury and Colo Rivers. On arrival we were presented with freshly-baked bread, sparkling wine and two very substantial plates for DIY BBQ brunch!
We settled in and took the ferry across the river just as the morning mist was rising off the water. We enjoyed the sun in the garden, the dog played in the stream and had a great time sniffing around. In the evening we sat by the open fire and enjoyed the beautiful spa with a glass of champagne. Everything was so peaceful. The bedroom was also very special with an electric blanket and beautiful touches. We were made to feel very welcome and would definitely return."

"Our weekend break was fantastic. The Rosewood Suite was beautifully decorated with all the inclusions one would want. The spa pool outside was absolutely wonderful, watching the birds & sipping champers. Chris & Vicky made us feel right at home & the homebaked goodies were a welcome treat. Our platters overflowed with fresh food to BBQ & the peace & quiet was very much needed. We will certainly be back to recharge our batteries. Never felt so relaxed!"

"We had a very quiet, relaxing weekend. The service was brilliant. They gave us complete privacy. The retreat was very tastefully decorated, even down to the finer details like rose petals on your bed. I loved the pillows. The retreat had everything that it said it had. The rustic old spa awesome. Meals were excellent and of high quality. We will be back."
