Relaxing holidays for two on the Mid North Coast of NSW
If you know of Hannam Vale you'll have fallen for its green valleys, woods, streams and its dairy farms and rollercoaster country lanes and rattling wooden bridges. Benbellen has views down the valley to South Brother, a local landmark that marks the valley to the south. Benbellen is purpose built as a Queenslander style country home catering for every breeze from neaby Crowdy Bay and the Pacific Ocean. Rooms are fully ensuite with large private balconies. The inside of the house is dominated by a large open-plan living area with access to guest's rooms through a fabulous collection of books in the family library. From the high verandah you can catch the views and help Peter and Sherry keep an eye on their growing herd of prize winning alpacas, the geese and ducks not to mention their Border Collies, Tom and Jerry.
A full cooked breakfast is provided as an integral part of our tariff.

Hannam ValeBenbellen is an aboriginal word meaning "high quiet place" and that is exactly what you will find at the "top end" of this delightful coastal valley. Tucked away between the landmark peaks of South and Middle Brother just off the Pacific Highway between Taree and Port Macquarie, this old dairy valley reminds visitors of the fields of England with its rolling hills and patchwork fields of rich green grasses.
Accessed from Johns River from the north and Moorland from the South, Hannam Vale is one third of the way from Sydney to Brisbane - just under half way from Sydney to Byron Bay; an ideal stopping off point for travellers up and down the Highway or as a base for local attractions. Benbellen FarmBenbellen is a 55 acres working farm owned by Peter and Sherry Wildblood-Stumm. The prize winning alpacas graze on the nearby paddocks and guests are welcome to join Sherry with the alapacs particularly at feeding time. Friendly and inquisitive, alpacas are a source of great delight to visitors.
Benbellen is also the home of Benbellen Alpaca Products and guests are able to purchase goods made from natural untreated alpaca fibre from our farm: sweaters, scarves, hats/beanies, duvets and underblankets.
