Located 90 minutes drive from Canberra and just off the Hume Highway between Sydney and Melbourne, Church House is the perfect location for a short stay.

The B&B is a leisurely two minute stroll from the Gundagai town centre which boasts cafes, boutiques, gift and craft stores.

For the sports minded, a round of golf on the picturesque riverside 18 hole course is a must or why not try a spot of fishing in the Murrumbidgee?

The artistically inclined will be pleasantly surprised by the diversity and quality of galleries the town has to offer.

The history buff can enjoy a walking tour to view the many heritage listed buildings and historical points of interest. And a trip to Gundagai is just not complete without a visit to the world famous Dog on the Tuckerbox.

Of course if you're looking to just unwind, Gundagai boasts three historic pubs which provide meals, along with a fully equipped RSL Club with restaurant.

Take the opportunity to visit the various cellar doors and see why Gundagai is growing in popularity and reputation as a wine producing region. Directional maps and information sheets for the vineyards are available upon check-in.

All roads lead to Gundagai every third week of November for the running of one of Australia's most famous horse race meetings, "The Snake Gully Cup". Early bookings are essential.

Church House B&B is designed for couples or groups looking to unwind and get away from it all. The three queensize bedrooms are equipped with ensuite, TV, reverse cycle airconditioner, bedlamps, clock-radio, velour blanket for those chilly winter months, bathrobes and complimentary toiletries.

An internet connection is available for guests in our home next door. The lounge and dining areas can be utilised for meeting rooms. The area is open plan and will seat up to 14 to 17 people. Guests on extended stays can request a daily service.

Accommodating up to six people, the Church House is a perfect venue to accommodate small wedding parties or the families of the bride or groom, offering complete privacy and a place for family and guests to come together. Our garden area provides a beautiful space for a small wedding. The rich and unique colour scheme in the B&B is the perfect backdrop for photos, along with the one acre of cottage garden.
