"Quality of accommodation was good value for the price. However, the owner who lives on the property was not very welcoming. He continuously complained about noise level and wanted us to be indoors after midnight, which is difficult when you have a party of 22 adults. Unfortunately the lack of privacy hindered the experience. The area and surrounding beaches are beautiful and it was a real shame."

"I was very pleasantly surprised at the warm reception I received from the manage- introducing me to other guests. The healthy large bowl of fruit immediately caught my eye and the homeliness of kitchen, dining room and lounge room with TV etc -all in one cosy area just like home. I also found lots of extra food condiments in the cupboard for use in cooking. My bedroom was cosy and looked over the garden - nice surrounds.

"Due to our large and extended family, 'Wombats B&B' was the perfect solution. It is often difficult to cater to everyone's needs, but 'Wombats'met all. Firstly, it had all the creature comforts you could wish for. The rooms were ample in size, the beds were nice and comfortable. There were two large living and entertainment areas, a pool to relax in and a winner with the kids. It had very well equipped kitchens and self-catering facilities all combined with privacy (felt as though we were in our own family home.) Ror anyone who wants to rest and unwind. Conveniently located near a large shopping centre with the beauty of the Brisbane waters a stones throw away. Nothing was a problem and Laurie always went out of his way to help with any request. Most of all, we thank you for providing a high level of customer service at an economical price. It's beyond that you often experience in a B&B. Excellent place to stay."

"Our stay at Wombat B & B was EXCELLENT!! The place was lovely, the children were made feel more than welcome and every assistance was offered to us with directions etc. Although it was too cold to swim in the pool, the hot water spa was beautiful!"

"We enjoyed our stay very much. Your place was very clean; beds were
comfortable and all amenities and utilities worked fine.
The three kids really enjoyed your pool and hospitality. We would have no
hesitation in recommending Wombats bed and breakfast to family and friends.
The kids were disappointed when we couldn't stay another night.


Other input....we needed a fan as we had 5 people in our room. We borrowed
the one in the ground floor hall way....we new you wouldn't mind. You may
consider ceiling fans.
