The Jolly Swagman Motor Inn in Goondiwindi is close to the town centre in a quiet location.
We offer quality accommodation which boasts spacious fully air conditioned ground floor units with undercover parking. We have a wide range of units to suit all travelers, some with spa baths, as well as disabled units with an adjoining carers unit. All units have colour TV, 8 channel AUSTAR, clock radio, tea/coffee making, queen size beds, hair dryer, iron & board, toaster, d/d phones and WIFI broadband. We also have a guest laundry and offer room service and there is ample parking for trucks/trailers.

Goondiwindi is a modern and vibrant regional centre while retaining the stylish simplicity of a traditional country town. The town boasts tree lined streets, well kept gardens and the Macintyre River which is one of the town's greatest assets.

Heritage sites around the town include the Customs House Museum and Martha's Cottage which was a border customs point before Federation built in 1850. This authentically restored building and its magnificent cottage garden, display a rich and colourful collection of mementos of days gone by. You may also notice the Gunsynd Statue near the old Border Bridge on the McIntyre River, one of the State's significant icon.

Travelling by car, Goondiwindi is four hours west of Brisbane, two hours south of Miles in Queensland and if travelling from NSW, it's one hour from Moree, two hours from Narrabri and five hours from Dubbo. Bus travel is available through booking agents.

Investigate the Aboriginal Rock Wells at Weengallon, then take a short drive to Glenlyon, Pindari and Coolmunda Dams and the MacIntyre Falls and caves, east of Yetman.
