We offer beautifully decorated bedrooms with quality linen and plenty of fresh white fluffy towels. Coffee and Tea making facillites are available. Guests can enjoy relaxing on the adjoining deck with a glass of wine, or a freshly brewed coffee, and read a book from our extensive library. For a little recreation you can take up a game of Boule on the front lawn. We will supply a wonderful gourmet dinner by arrangement.Our retreat is suitable for a double or a double and family

Locality

We are well located, only 5 minutes from Gloucester, three hours from the north side of Sydney. The Hunter Valley is not far away and Forster and Taree are only one hours drive, so we are a wonderful affordable little oasis in the middle of the upper Hunter. We are on the fringe to the Barrington Tops National Parks, where there are many breathtaking walks and picnic areas. Much to do and plenty to see, or just relax in the peace and quiet of our beautiful area

Property

Barrington Village Retreat is on one acre of land in the quaint village of Barrington. It is a country property with sweeping views of the Barrington Tops mountains and the Bucketts valley. You can either eat in and enjoy a gourmet dinner cooked by your hosts at home, or eat out at the many Restaurants providing fine food. The general store, Cafe and bottle shop is next door, so not far to travel.
We provide a facility for you to bring your friendly pet. The property has a fenced in back yard, so you can bring along your pet, rent free. No more boarding kennels, no more kennel cough, and you can enjoy your holiday together.

My Busness partner and I love all animals. We have the perfect place for you to bring your pampered pet. the floors throughout the Retreat are covered with tiles so easy to keep clean. The back yard is fenced so no escaping, and we have a doggy door so as your pet can come and go as they please. Other guests have found our place a perfect place to bring their pets as we allow them to sleep inside.
