We enjoyed our wine and chocolates by the warm fire in the evening and a cooked breakfast plus a walk by the Emerald Lake in the morning.The decor is tasteful, the bath is huge [if you can cope with the water-guilt] and Jenny our hostess offered helpful advice on places to visit in the Dandenongs.I didn't know pet-friendly places could be this good."

"The Accommodation was great and secluded even though we were next door to the owners. The breakfast that we were served was terrific,beautifully cooked and delicious. Comfortable beds added to the relaxation and not far from Emerald Lake which made for a lovely walk. Many beautiful walks around the place as well. The Chocolates and Wine on Arrival made for a lovely welcome. (The Chocolates were top quality as well). The Location was great because it was not far from Melbourne which made for an easy drive home on the Sunday. My Wife fully enjoyed her Birthday present."

"Absolutely perfect! We were totally spoilt. From the yummy chocolates and champagne on our arrival to the wonderfully fluffy towels and robes which enticed us into the spa. The luxurious bedding made waking up VERY leisurely only to be outdone by the indulgent cooked breakfasts. Lovely garden setting to enjoy the colourful birdlife. Great massage too! Excellent! Will recommend to everyone looking for peace and tranquility.

"Our stay was absolutely superb. The first thing we noticed was the fresh clean air. It was a well-appointed, delightful cottage with all amenities including spa and a private fenced courtyard for our puppy. The cooked breakfasts each morning were sensational - and with so much to see and do, we would highly recommend Glenview Retreat as a fabulous getaway to anyone. So close to Melbourne and yet so liberating! Thanks again!"

"'Glenview Retreat' is the perfect home away from home. We had a lovely time! The cottages are private, a perfect little hiding spot to get away from it all. The little touches that Jenny goes out of her way to add are lovely: the chocolates, the wine, the fire already on when you arrive and even little birthday cakes and candles with the breakfast tray!! We had a double massage in the cottage too, which was the perfect start to our relaxing stay. THANKS!"

"Sheer delight- was the first impression on entering our cottage accommodation. The one night stay was not long enough but it was all the time we had at our disposal. There is nothing left wanting, as Jenny has thought of absolutely everything for the comfort of her guests. She was very generous in allowing our terrier inside with us. It was very cold weather and we all appreciated the gas/log fire. Our cooked breakfast was served piping hot and right on time. We had a pang of regret at having to leave. Jen is the "hostess with the mostest" and what a lovely person she is. We certainly want to visit again and stay longer in that delightful bushland setting. Congratulations to 'Glenview.'"
