Whether you slip away for a few days mid-week or escape for a romantic weekend you will appreciate the quiet surrounds and fresh smell of the eucalypts as soon as you step from the car.

Our two fully self-contained cottage suites are furnished to capture country-style appeal, but with modern luxuries like air-conditioning, gas log fire, kitchenette, candle-lit double spa bath, queen-size bed, fluffy bath robes, TV/DVD and courtyard garden.

Indulge in your complimentary wine and chocolates on arrival. Wake in the morning to the bird chorus, a newspaper at your door and a scrumptious cooked country breakfast prepared for you and served piping hot in the privacy of your cottage.

In the immediate local area of Emerald and the Dandenong Ranges you can ride the legendary Puffing Billy Steam Train, fish for trout, play golf, go horse riding, or just indulge in the diverse range of restaurants, cafes, galleries, art and craft shops and wineries scattered throughout the hills.

Glenview Retreat has a warm, relaxed atmosphere and is perfect for couples as a romantic getaway or weekend escape.

Breakfast

A hearty country cooked breakfast is served to you in your cottage at a time of your choice. The breakfast contains any combination of juice, eggs, bacon, sausage, tomato, mushrooms, or croissants, pancakes, fruit, toast, and a selection of jams, marmalade or honey.
Combine this with coffee or tea available in your cottage and a newspaper delivered to your door and you have the makings of a very relaxing and leisurely start to your day.

We welcome your pets to Glenview Retreat with a snack to enjoy when they arrive. There is a secure garden at the rear of the cottage suite for them to stretch their legs and explore. They are welcome indoors provided they are kept off the furniture and there is a small one off fee to cover the extra cleaning. We ask that if you leave the cottage that they accompany you and are not left unattended at the cottage.
There are loads of walking tracks throughout the adjacent Wrights Forest and nearby Emerald Lake Park. We look forward to making you and your pet most welcome.
