Kings Plains Castle was constructed in 1910 by Doctor George Vivers, great nephew of William Vivers who first settled the property in 1832.
Present owners, Colleen & Don Hollingworth have endeavoured to preserve this rich piece of Australian pastoral heritage.
The castle has 12 bedrooms, all beautifully appointed and furnished in period furniture.
Private parties, small weddings and functions can be catered for in the licensed restaurant which seats 30 people.
The four and a half acres of garden features many varieties of lavender, old English trees and iceberg roses which dot the beautifully manicured lawns.

We are half an hour off the New England Highway, a comfortable 5 hours from Brisbane and the Gold Coast and 7 hours from Sydney.
The castle is off the beaten track and its drawcard is it's peaceful rural setting.
No mobile phone reception, no noisy traffic - the only thing to wake our patrons in the morning is the bird calls and the bull's roar.
Come and experience it. PropertyKings Plains Castle is situated on a working rural property of 3000 acres.
It is surrounded by history, charm and serenity.
It is in the heart of New England where we experience the 4 distinct seasons - mild summers, beautiful colours in Autumn, crisp winters where we can experience the warmth and glow of a log fire, and a garden which comes alive in spring.
