Cottage, Holiday house

As soon as you walk through the front door you will marvel at what value for money the cottage is.
The cottage (which is fully self contained) has been beautifully decorated in a rustic romantic style which appeals to young and old.We have also endeavoured to make it as homely as possible and guests that have returned have said 'they feel like they have arrived home'.

We also have a claw foot bath, so you can really start to unwind or just sit and listen to the quiet whilst you enjoy your complimentary locally made "FC Grubb" soft drink.
If you are looking to be a little more active,you can wander the streets of Gladstone & check out the beautiful period homes hidden here.The Gladstone Gaol is also well worth a visit.
For the more adventurous, the Heysen Trail is a short drive away, and for the antiques enthusiasts - we can point you in the right direction.
For larger Groups( ie: bringing mum & dad or extra friends),there is also a large airconditioned renovated caravan which can be placed in the backyard (not available separately). The van contains 1 queen size bed & 1 bunk bed.

Located within the township and a pleasant stroll to the main street,which has a supermarket open 7 days a week 8am - 7 pm.Our local information centre "Southern Flinders Discovery Centre" can provide you with all the information you need to make the most of your time with us.

Suitable only for persons with limited mobility but not wheelchair users, Step or lip exists to the shower, Unimpeded wheelchair access from car parking to the property.

Conyngham Cottage was built in 1900 and unfortunately wheelchairs would not be ble to fit throught he doors. There is a couple of small steps in the kitchen. The shower is located over the bath but there are no handrails.

Pet friendly

Small dogs (less than 11 kg) are permitted, Medium dogs (11 kg to less than 34 kg) are permitted, Large dogs (34 kg or heavier) are permitted, Pets are permitted outside only, Secure, fully fenced running area, Food and water bowls provided, Bedding/sleeping area provided.

Dogs are welcome strictly outdoors with the option of sleeping in the laundry of a night time. If your loved one is an inside pet please contact us to discuss. We provide a water bowl but please bring your own food bowl and bedding.All dog owners must also clean up after their pet.
