"Olympia was perfectly located within easy walking distance to transportation - train & ferries. One draw back to the location was that it was VERY noisey due to garbage pickup that occured more than once a week at a ridiculously early hour of the morning. Better instructions for the combination washer/dryer would be helpful, I never did figure out how to use the dryer. There were LOTS of instructions but, in that case, more wasn't better. The internet wasn't as easily accessible as we thought it would be but, a call to the individual that we dealt with for the rental & several calls to Optus mobile eventually resolved the problem"

"An absolute delight from the moment you open up the door and curiously walk into the entrance area. Circling up the first spiral staircase you find a spacial lounge/dining/kitchen area with a large tv and incredibly comfy and oversized brown leather lounge in the middle of the room. Off the kitchen space is the bathroom/ laundry area.
Adventuring onto up via the next spiral staircase, you marvel in the bedroom area - the king size bed is just plonked beautifully in the middle of the room that makes you feel like you are sleeping up in amongst the trees.
We had chums staying in a B&B further down the road. They popped in to collect us and were so incredibly envious as they paid the same per night for a one bedder and bathroom. They actually had a bit of a bicker about their place compared to ours!

The spiral staircases could be an issue if you have oversized luggage but even if you had to empty it at the entrance and carry it up separately - this place is worth it.

Proximity wise to cafes, pubs, public transport and fab shops, this place is exceptional.

I would recommend Olympia to to anyone that I know may be planning travels to the Perth/Freo area.

We were considering moving to WA for a period of time and considered finding out if we could rent the place to live in...
