In an elevated position directly behind Fremantle Sailing Club on the Beaconsfield Ridge, this authentic 105 year old stone cottage offers all the charm of yesteryear. Stylish and conveniently located a short stroll from Wray Ave and South Tce, this gorgeous old character home is tastefully decorated, comfortable and welcoming.
With a lounge room, formal dining room and two spacious bedrooms, the queen size, double bed and double bunk beds offer sleeping comfort for up to 6 people. the bull nose verandah is the perfect place to enjoy a drink and relish the "Freo Doctor" sea breeze and the beautiful street scape, whilst the rear garden entertaining area offers the authentic Aussie experience, complete with BBQ and Hills Hoist.
Nearby attractions include Ruocco's Pizza, the Seaview Tavern, Moondyne Joes and Aubergines. Situated half way between South Beach and the Centre of Fremantle, McCleery Stone Cottage is a pleasant 15 minute walk to either.

We had a great time staying here. The cottage is a gorgeous old house, full of charm and character, with a nice garden and in a lovely quiet street. Anthony was very friendly and helpful with the booking and our arrival. The location was great - great local cafe, fifteen minute walk to Fremantle shops, market etc and a fifteen minute walk to a lovely, family friendly beach. And the free CAT bus is only a few minutes away. I would highly recommend this place.
