Holiday house

Sunset House is located on the waterfront on the western side of Fraser Island, just a short ferry ride from River Heads near Hervey Bay. Located within the Kingfisher Bay Eco-resort the house is minutes walk from the beach and resort facilities. You don't need a vehicle to access the house. Watch the sun set from the balcony overlooking the Great Sandy Strait. You can join whale watching trips from July to October from the Resort.

Built in the style of the Resort, with polished floors throughout, Sunset House has large indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. The house consists of 4 bedrooms, two with queen beds, two with double bunks. There is a fully equiped kitchen, with a large refrigerator freezer. The top deck offers panoramic water views and a spa. The house is fully air conditioned.

Guests staying at Sunset House are offered full access to the facilities of the Resort, including pools, restaurants, bars, tennis courts and shops. The resort also offers many activities for adults and children. The house is close enough to the resort that you don't need a vehicle. However you might like to bring your own 4WD across on the barge or hire one at the Resort to explore the island. It is the perfect starting point to explore magnificent Fraser Island. The fishing is excellent from the Kingfisher jetty. Don't forget whale watching from July to October.

Sunset House is ideally suited for couples or one or two families. It could also be the perfect venue for a small corporate 'off site'.
