Cottage, Holiday house, Self-contained apartment

Welcome

Carey's cottage is very comfortable and central to Forster's main attractions. Walk everywhere - only 1 minute to beautiful Wallis Lake, 5 minutes to the shops and tasty restaurants and 7 minutes to Main Beach. The cottage has timber floors, high ceilings, air-conditioning in the main areas and fans in all living and sleeping rooms. All furniture is stylish and new. A complete 1 bedroom flat is part of the property which is also airconditioned and let to people renting the house.

The rear yard is fully enclosed and neat and tidy. The patio is equiped for outdoor entertaining and a pleasant area for meals at any time. There is a separate BBQ area with additional outdoor setting.

The cottage has a queen, double (in the flat), 4 single (one trundle) and 2 double sofa beds (in the flat). The main bathroom has the world's most comfortable bath - a long claw footer. Blankets and pillows are provided, along with modest kitchen provisions. An additional charge is levied for use of the flat but it is never let separately.

Well behaved dogs are most welcome. We only allow a maximum of 2 medium to large dogs or 3 small dogs. House trained dogs are permitted inside but not on the furniture. The house is in a residential area so owners MUST ensure that their dogs do not disturb the neightbours by behaviour such as constant barking.

We even have doggie doors. A raised dog bed is available in the laundry but please bring bedding.

Very helpful owners who made meticulous arrangements for our arrival. Would definitely stay there again. "

Locality

Forster is a glorious sparkling jewel located less than 3 comfortable hours drive from Sydney and only 1.75 hours from Newcastle. The water is crystal clear, the beaches clean and plentiful and the fishing great. There is water everywhere with wonderful and varied walks ringing all waterways

There are plenty of activities for kids and an impressive variety of high quality restaurants, theatres, shops and water sports for everyone.
