We welcome pets, but as we live in rural area, owners must take full responsibilty for their care. We are able to supply bedding and bowls and the property is fully fenced. Pets are also able to come inside.

Inthelonggrass cottage provides clean, affordable family and small group accommodation in a secluded rural environment. The cottage comes with all the facilities you need to enjoy a comfortable, hassle free break, including air conditioning and heating.

Our accommodation is fully renovated throughout with new comfy beds, new kitchen, and plenty of outdoor living space to enjoy the magnificent views and peace and quiet.

We are situated just 30 minutes drive from Lorne and 40 minutes from Apollo Bay. We are only a short drive to numerous other destinations including Lake Elizabeth, The Otway Fly and Erskine Falls.
Our cottage makes an ideal base to explore the beautiful Otway Ranges and having lived and worked here for over 20 years we can help you plan whatever sort of holiday you are looking for.
We are just 2 hours from Melbourne and just minutes from the Yaugher trail head mountain bike track. Our land backs directly on to the Otway National Park so a world of riding and walking is just a stroll away.

Our cottage is equipped with 4 single and 1 queen bed ( with electric blanket), reverse cycle heating and air conditioning, full size fridge, BBQ, digital TV, DVD, Video and Radio.

Locality

The Otways Hinterland is being discovered as the jewel in Victoria's crown. Our property is close to beautiful bushwalking, waterfalls and wildlife and is only a short drive from Lorne and Apollo Bay. The amazing network of Mountain Bike trails is said to be the best in Australia and there are tracks for all ages and skill levels. We are in an ideal locality for bike riders as you can access the trails in just minutes
