Bed & Breakfast

The Sunset View B&B is conveniently located when visiting Forbes and surrounding 'Explorer Country' districts or as a stop-over between Melbourne and Brisbane. With spectacular sunsets and picturesque rural views, it is the perfect place to unwind after a hard day's travel. It is a convenient base for enjoying the Ben Hall Festival, Jazz Festival, Camel Races and, with Parkes just 20 minutes away, the Elvis Festival.
The two queen bed rooms lead into the guest lounge/games room with a 3/4 pool table and r/c air conditioning, tea and coffee making (with plunger provided) with home-baked biscuits, bar fridge and microwave. Guests are also welcome to use the solar-heated pool and spa (towels provided) and spacious covered outdoor leisure area.
Cooked breakfast is available ($15 pp). We can also make arrangements for guests to join us for a country-style, home-cooked two course dinner with wine ($35 pp). Special dietary needs can be catered for.
Other features include off-street undercover parking (secure by arrangement), private access, private facilities, (robes, complimentary toiletries, hair dryer), electric blankets, free Wi-Fi, HD TV/DVDs (movies available), non smoking, wheelchair friendly. Not suitable for pets.

Join us for the annual Ben Hall Festival, the Jazz Festival and the Camel Races.

Sunset View B&B is a large, double brick home situated in a quiet location on the western edge of Forbes,just 2km to the west of the town centre by sealed road. The property looks out onto farmed paddocks, the scenery reflecting the seasonal use of the land, with hills on the western horizon. The guest area has private access and facilities.
Sunset View is motor-bike friendly. It is accessed by sealed roads and secure parking for bikes can be arranged.
