The house is set on half an acre of garden, which includes expanses of lawn, a small orchard, lavender and rose garden beds.
The kitchen is very well equipped with all you need to cook up a storm. The lounge is a relaxing room where you can watch TV, read, listen to music or just sit in front of the fire and sip wine on a wintery day.
There is a separate dining room and a lovely north-facing sunroom.
The laundry has a washing machine and dryer and an iron with table.
To enjoy the sun, barbeques and garden views, there is a large north-facing balcony with a table and seating for 10.
A swing has recently been constructed which is easily viewed from the balcony, and to be enjoyed by young and old.
As well, there is a return verandah at the front of the house, framing the beautiful stained-glass front door surrounds.
Within Flinders, you can enjoy golf, fishing on the pier, swimming, surfing, rockpooling or just browsing through the antique shops. A short drive will take you to magnificent untouched bushland and walking tracks, many fine vineyards and restaurants. The Peninsula has many great golf courses and beaches for you to explore.
LocalityA short walk to the cliff top from the house will provide spectacular views of Phillip Island, Seal Rock and the Nobbies, together with the everchanging sea colours of Westernport Bay. The pier is at the base of the stairs leading down the cliff, and freshly harvested mussels are often available from boats tied up there during the season.
No visit to Flinders is complete without playing the scenic golf course.
The surrounding region is host to numerous fine vineyards and restaurants, our particular favourites being the Merricks General Store and Montalto Winery and restaurant.
