"The terradome was a cool, quiet refuge from the heat. Lovely to sit on top and gaze at the Asses Ears as they changed colour in the evening. Kind hosts, generous breakfast supplies. Lots of wildlife at the little pond. Bush heaven."

"We love Emu Holiday Park. This was our third or fourth visit and each time we stay we appreciate the same things - the clean, spacious log cabin, the peace and quiet, the simplicity, the luxury in today's mad rush to sit in an unspoit environment and unwind amidst gum trees, kookaburras, possums and wallabies. It's a wonderful spot to enjoy long walks in the Grampians. Our boys love it. We'll keep coming back because unspoilt, un-touristy places like this are increasingly hard to find."

"We had a great stay - accommodation was excellent and the people who run the park are friendly and very helpful. We stayed in the spacious two bedroom cabin, with a log fire and a gas heater (it was cold weather!), a very good shower and excellent kitchen facilities. "

"Log cabin was warm, clean & cosy. Kids (1&4) loved the trampoline, canoes & the friendly kangaroos. Its good to see all the greenery coming back from the fires. Mckenzies falls was a lovely walk with plenty of water spilling over the top. I hope the dams fill up soon for the locals. Great getaway."

"We enjoyed the combination of rusticity and comfort. The grounds were unspoiled and peaceful, and the kayaking kept the kids happy for hours, even though the dam was at one of its lowest levels. We couldn't hear any traffic, something we don't experience in our busy lives, and the stars at night were a thrill for us cityslickers! The cabin was more spacious than those of comparable cost at other parks, and the wildlife came to our door! Emu Park is a lovely place to stay if you are looking for peace, simplicity and a beautiful environment. "

"We loved the place. Clost to our favourite Grampians spots. Loved the deck over the dam. The kitchen was well stocked with everything a cook needs. One thing though, the beds were far too soft and old. That's a thing that really matters to us. Hope you were both safe during the fires. Many thanks. [TakeABreak.com.au Comment: Mattresses at Emu Holiday Park are of a
'Firm Support' design with additional surface comfort]"
