"The house was HUGE! We were expecting something much smaller. The owner was fantastic, even started the fire for us, so it was nice and toasty when we arrived. There was an enormous selection of teas and coffee, which was great for the winter. Loved seeing the various birds which visited us. Oh, and the spa was very nice!"

"The cottage was well appointed, almost luxurious, with everything provided. The breakfast hamper was wonderful. The video/DVD collection was a hit with our 3 yr old daughter. Our host was helpful yet unobtrusive, which we appreciated. Certainly a lovely spot to stay and we hope to return in the future for a longer visit."

"The entire package was perfect from the beginning. The cottage was set in lovely well-cared for surroundings with a large, beautiful garden. The hosts were friendly and inviting, and provided a delicious spread on our arrival. The cottage furnishings were cosy and had an antique homely feel and complimented the modern kitchen and bathroom facilities. The hosts had also included a nice display of tourist brochures and offered great recommendations too. Overall, we couldn't have asked for anything more. Thanks A-Oaks :)"
