Avonsleigh Oaks has an interesting effect on people who come to stay. They get to feel that time slows down. It’s something to do with the dappled light of the oaks, or, when the oaks are bare, snuggling up around the wood fire, soaking in a deep spa and tucking up in a dreamy, romantic bed. That’s just the cottage. There are still all the wonderful things to see and do in the Dandenongs - the gardens and forests, the village shops and Puffing Billy - all steeped in a bygone era.

Inside the fully self contained 2 bedroom cottage charm carries through with wooden dado panelling and a real wood log fire. The country dining area is spacious and inviting. The bedrooms are especially romantic, with beautiful linen and lace bedding.
