Tennyson is a spacious top floor apartment, situated in a small four storey block, completed only three years ago. Located in a quiet street not far from both the beach and trendy Melbourne suburbs, the apartment is light, modern and comfortable.

A balcony offers the opportunity to relax in the sun, enjoy alfresco dining or a peaceful read of a favourite book, away from traffic and people. Air conditioning/heating is available in the principle rooms and the whole apartment is newly furnished in a luxurious style.

The situation is ideal to appreciate both the exciting Melbourne life and the beach, being only ten minutes from the nearest tram, 15 minutes from the train station, bus and airport bus stops within an easy walk and about ten minutes walk to the beach. A golf course and parks for the children are three minutes walk.

Café society and shops are within easy walking distance, with the village of Elwood, within walking distance, shops at the end of the street and the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Acland Street and Fitzroy street nearby.

Elwood is central to the many things the bayside area has to offer. St Kilda is within good walking or bike riding distance. Visit the Esplanade Markets, ride the roller coaster at Luna Park, have coffee and cake in Acland Street, dine at one of the many restaurants in Fitzroy Street, or catch the ferry to Williamstown from St Kilda pier.

More locally, stroll to Elwood Foreshore, go for a bike ride or rollerblade, and enjoy Elwood Village for its many eating options, bars, cafes and restaurants. Other facilities include supermarket, laundromat, banks and post office. Take the time to have a hit of golf at Elsternwick golf course, feed the ducks in the park or catch a movie at the Classic Cinema - a fifteen minute walk away. Public transport is also easily accessible. Ten minutes walk to trams, fifteen minutes walk to the train station, and buses are around the corner, including the Tullamarine Airport shuttle bus.

Visitors can enjoy some fabulous day trips from Elwood. We have five gourmet food and wine regions all within an hour and a half’s drive; Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Vally, Macedon Ranges, Sunbury and the Geelong/Bellarine Peninsula. Other great things to see and do include enjoying a devonshire tea in The Dandenongs, having a ride on Puffing Billy, viewing the penguins at Phillip Island or taking in the beauty along the Great Ocean Road.
