Holiday house

The property is situated on Right Arm Road in Taylor Bay with some views to the lake. The property is relatively flat, ideal for a game of cricket, kick of the footy or for the kids to pitch a tent.

So, hook-up the boat and head on down.

Facilities
This a cosy 70s style holiday house with some recent renovations including a lick of paint, polished floors and kitchen upgrade. With a few bits & pieces remaining to our new extension downstairs facilities include 5 bedrooms - 3 queen bed rooms plus 2 bunk rooms sleeping up to 15 people (max 8 adults). Ideal for family holidays.

Air conditioning, a large North facing deck with some views to the lake, Pool Table, BBQ, TV with Austar, Stereo with MP3 jack and DVD. Plenty of space to park the boat on a near flat block.

"I found this place online when looking for a house in Eildon lake area. It has ALL required facilities for a good family weekend and more than enough space for kids. Very authentic lake house with a great, laid-back vibe. If you're looking for a luxury resort, this is not it. But if you want a quiet, comfortable and cozy place to stay on the lake, you've come to the right place! We loved Taylor Bay house and will definitely be back! We just weren't ready to leave!

Locality

The Taylor Bay area of Lake Eildon is unique in that access to the Lake is only possible through private land. Large signs on the no-through road entrance to the Bay declare that there are no facilities available to the general public. Taylor Bay is located just 5 or so mins from Eildon township and approx 10 mins. from the dam wall and boat launching facilities. Taylor Bay provides year round access to water.

Eildon is approximately 2 hours drive from Melbourne along the Maroondah Highway via the magnificent Yarra Valley and through the Black Spur.

Property

The house is set on 2 acres with wildlife. including the occasional kangaroo on the front lawn, with plenty of birds to feed incl king parrots and rosellas (bird seed supplied).

Wake boarding / water skiing
