Park St has its own small front garden, with high fences around it, and access into the garage for shade and shelter. There is also a brilliant park at the end of street (no off leash area though).

Pet owners will pay a $25 surcharge per pet (per stay, not per night!), and all droppings, hair etc MUST be removed before you leave.
We do allow pets inside but in no circumstance are they allowed on beds or furniture (even if you usually have them on a blanket on a couch, this is not permitted at our houses). You will need to bring your own bowls and bedding.

Upstairs you'll find main bedroom with queen bed and ensuite, and own deck; 2nd bedroom also with a queen bed; 3rd bedroom with 1 single; bathroom.

Total sleeping capacity is 5, and this is the maximum allowed although babies in a cot are not included in the total. A portacot and highchair are provided free of charge.

Guests are welcome to stay anywhere from a week to several months, although short bookings may only be taken on short notice depending on availability.

Locality


Location:- Park St Hawthorne is in a fabulous area - you have a great family owned cinema right around the corner, also a dog friendly park with exercise track and playgrounds, and the local AFL Football club with bistro and bar. If you want to catch a CityCat ferry to Southbank, the city, or all the way to St Lucia, the ferry terminal is about an 8 minute walk down an adjacent street. Hawthorne is a beautiful established area with many lovely homes, and is only 6kms from the city - access to the city by road is along Wynnum Rd, and access to the airport by the Gateway Motorway - the airport is just 20 minutes away.
Need to shop?? Loads of choice! Local shops are 1/2 km down the road for all everyday needs, and supermarkets at Morningside, Bulimba and Cannon Hill. Westfield Carindale is just 10 minutes away, with major department stores and all the specialty shops you could want (plus it's all carpeted - very nice!) Plus there's Stones Corner for discount shops, the City 10 minutes away too.

Things to Do


On the southside of the river, Hawthorne is just 10 minutes to the city, Southbank and the Brisbane Convention centre. Walk to the nearest ferry terminal to catch a CityCat to the city, drive to a local train station for easy access to the city too, or hop on a local bus. 45 minutes to Dreamworld and Movie World and Wet'n'Wild, 60 minutes to Surfers Paradise and Sea World. A really well located home for your visit to Brisbane. It's also only 50 minutes to Surfers Paradise, where you can try the amazing "Infinity" attraction. Also recommended is beautiful Mt Tamborine, with walks, shops, art and craft, and markets - a great day trip.
