Nestled in nature, Platypus Ponds on the banks of the Cabbage Tree Creek, is 3 acres of private secluded reserve abounding in birdlife. Explore this magical region's National Parks, rainforest walks, the beginning of the 90 mile beach, Snowy River estuary and Wilderness Coast.

This traditional B&B has a guest lounge with satellite TV and library, king, queen or triple rooms with ensuite and private balcony, continental breakfast served in guest dining room. Licenced.

4 hours from Melbourne - 8 hrs to Sydney and 3.5 hrs from Canberra.

Located just 200 metres off the Princes Highway between Orbost and Cann River.

An ideal stop-over for people travelling the Coastal Route between Sydney and Melbourne.

ADULTS ONLY (sorry, no kids facilities)

A great eco experience - just 15 minutes from Cape Conran - the start of the 90 mile beach and close to 7 National and Coastal Parks makes this a great place to relax and experience East Gippsland.

We have 5 stairs inside so are not suitable for wheelchair access. However, we have found that people with other disabilities have coped fine and have enjoyed having access to all guest areas both in house and around the 3 acres of grounds.
