The home is situated approximately 400m from the main gate, and a short walk (a few minutes) to the Murray River, which forms the northern border of the 40 acre property.

Attractions

With direct access to the Murray River, and within close proximity to the Dwellingup township, local dams, walk and cycle trails, their is plenty of opportunity for sport and leisure activities in and around Nanga.

Located within 8km of the Nanga Brook Farm House is the historic Dwellingup township, host to a number of attractions, including the Hotham Valley Railway, Wine Tree Winery, Millhouse Restaurant, The Forrest Centre, Tree Top Walk and School of Wood. There's also the local pub which does a great cold beer and highly recommended roast.

f keen on some activity on your stay, local operators Dwellingup Adventures do hire mountain bikes, canoes and white water craft. They also run the odd tour event for larger groups.

For the walking and cycling enthusiast, both the Bibbulmun track and Munda Biddi trail are within walking and cycling distance, and the Lane Pool Reserve is host to some great mountain biking tracks, drawing many avid riders there all year round.

For the 4WD enthusiast, there's the Murray Valley 4WD circuit which runs through Lane Pool Reserve and along the Murray River.

Also check out some great picnic spots at either the Waroona Dam or South Dandalup Dam, or within just 2km, the very picturesque Baden Powell water spout.
